Band Notes

This page will give some helpful guidelines.

Spring Concerts: Tuesday, May 13th,
7:00pm at BPAC, 6th Grade performs along with the Appling Jazz
Band; Thursday, May 15th, 7:00pm 7th Grade, 8th Grade and the
Appling Honor Band will perform at BPAC. For both nights, band
students should arrive for warm-up by 6:30pm. Tickets for the
concert can be pre-purchased by band students or purchased at
the door. Tickets are $2:00.

Awards Banquet: Monday, May 19th;
start serving at 5:00pm; awards start at 6:30pm.
Reservations due to Mrs. Sanders no
later than Tuesday, May 13. Email Mrs. Sanders
or send a note with your child.

2008-2009 Band Preregistration:
Preregistration forms for next year's band
program are past due if not already submitted.
Please turn them in immediately to Mrs. Sanders!

Encourage your child to practice!
Remember, practicing and turning in practice records are a
part of your band grade. Don't forget to record practice times
on the
practice forms and
submit them each week. There will be a practice record contest
at the end of the semester. The student with the most practice
minutes will win an Amro gift certificate for $50.00.

We need your
pictures? We
would like to create a picture slideshow of this year's events on DVD. To do
this, we need your help. Please share
your pictures from our band events.
We are desperately in need of 6th and 7th grade pictures.You can easily submit them
to Mrs. Sanders on a disk or CD.
