Meet the Band : 6th Grade Band, October 6th, 7:00 PM Bartlett Performing Arts Center. The attire is concert dress: Black bottoms, white tops - no jeans or tennis shoes. PTSA Open House/Spaghetti Supper: Marching Band, October 22nd Parades: Marching Band, University of Memphis Homecoming: October 9th, 5:30 PM; Veteran's Day, November 11; Collierville Christmas Parade, December 4, 7:00 PM; Bartlett Christmas Parade, December 5, 6:00 PM. Holiday Concert: All Bands, Dec 15th, 7:00 PM New Hope Christian Church. Warm up is 6:30 PM. The attire is concert dress: Black bottoms, white tops - no jeans or tennis shoes. All West TN Band Auditions: January 9, 2010, University School, Jackson TN. Audition packets sent home with registered students. Honor Band and Jazz Band Auditions: Jan 4th, Honor Band brass auditions; Jan 5th, Woodwinds and Percussion auditions; Dec ?, Jazz band auditions. (Register for times BEFORE Holiday break) All West TN Band Clinic: Jan 28 - Jan 30, Selected students will leave Appling at 11:00 AM on Jan 28, concert is Jan 30 at the Canon Center. Concert Festival: March 9/10, Honor Band, Colonial Middle School Playing for a Cure: March 27, Honor Band Solo/Ensemble Festival: April 10, All Band Students, Cordova Middle Spring Trip: April 30-May 2, Honor/Jazz Bands, Cincinatti, Ohio Spring Concerts: 6th grade and Jazz Band, May 11th; 7th and 8th grades and Honor Band, May 12th. All concerts will be held at New Hope Christian Church. Awards Banquet: May 17, All Band Students
