GENERAL FUNDS
  Our band program could not exist without the money raised in our general fund. The money in put to great use to buy instruments and repairs, music, uniforms, and so much more. Students are asked to participate in various fundraisers throughout the year. 

Entertainment Books- A coupon book filled with tons of savings students sell for $15.00 each at the beginning of the school year. Prizes are awarded for top sellers. 

Band Halloween Dance-A great time for everyone! Tickets to the dance, concessions, and "the color guard" glow products are sold. Door prizes and a costume contest prizes are given!

Spirit Nights-Enjoy dining out two nights a month while raising money for the band! Appling Band night is every second Tuesday of each month at Fat Larry's BarBQ around the corner from Appling and every fourth Tuesday of each month at McAllister's Deli at Kirby Whitten/Stage. Just mention "Appling Band" when placing your order, and the band general fund receives 10% of the sales.

Cartridges for Kids- Empty printer cartridges (laser and inkjet), used cell phones, laptops (with power cords) and PDAs can be donated for cash to the general fund. Simply collect the cartridges and turn in to Mrs. Sanders. For more information, contact Mrs. Sanders or check out their website at www.cartridgesforkids.com .

 
 INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTS
  Students have an opportunity to earn money for their own personal use on anything band related. Money can be put good use on the Honor Band/Jazz Band spring trip, private lessons, instrument supplies and rental fees, music, Solo and Ensemble fees, booster dues, and more!  We have several new fundraisers available this year to help your student earn money in his/her account.

Pulled Pork Sale-Delicious pulled pork from Bozo's Bar-B-Q is sold at the beginning of school to be delivered for the Labor Day weekend. A second sale is usually held for delivery in time for Easter. Click here to go to the Labor Day Pulled Pork information letter.

Kroger Bucks- Our biggest moneymaker for individual accounts is from Kroger Bucks. Kroger gift cards may be purchased for $5.00 each. Once at Kroger you simply add any amount to the card and and 5% is returned to the Appling Band Boosters and credited to the students account. Most Kroger's allow you to add money to your account at the register but some require you to go to customer service. These cards can be used at Kroger locations nationwide, and cards may be used over and over. 

 Poinsettia Sale- Orders will be taken in October for Poinsettias which will be delivered in December. The poinsettias are purchased through Bayless Nursery and are very festive for the holidays.
